Hatch Process &
Technology Forum

Hatch’s Process and Technology Forum brings together process engineers and technologists from across Australia and the Asian region, so we can share our skills, stories and challenges.

With plant tours, a keynote speaker, technical presentations, and a formal dinner, you will have many opportunities to network with colleagues and put our minds to work on some of today’s big problems.

The two themes for 2018 are:

Step changes in our industries

  • Many current practices are unsustainable because of economics, environmental and social impacts, or due to rapid technology changes.
  • How can we change to stay well ahead of the curve?

Mining for batteries, batteries for mining

  • Compact electrical storage has enabled new technologies and thinking in the consumer field. What does the availability of better batteries mean for mining and metals production?
  • What materials are essential for the battery-powered future? Who will produce them, and what challenges need to be overcome?
