Graphite – What Is It Good for? A dull past to make a bright future
The world is changing. Energy storage solutions are showing signs of displacing petroleum as a primary energy source. The supply of critical materials typically comes from the region where this energy storage is manufactured—Asia.
Consumers are demanding a more sustainable supply chain for energy-storage devices, and this is driving demand for high quality and sustainably produced value-added materials. The graphite sector is responding to this state of change as it transitions from traditional markets to the value-added specialty anode materials of the emerging green energy-storage sector. This presentation will focus on how a European graphite producer aims to become a sustainable supply-chain partner for future energy-storage production in Europe.
